Moving On

As the holidays approach I find that strangely I don't feel so depressed.  I was contacted by someone that saw my job request and called me for an interview.  I don't know if this will lead to anything because it might not be some place I would want to work for but just to get an interview perked me up a lot.  I have been praying that something would come along.  I think  that I've been focusing on my own physical pain and hurts that I forget to grieve and I just want to be well enough to live my life and be able to do the things I need to do.  I know my mom wouldn't want be to give up, she worried about me all the time.  I try to ignore all the holiday items I see in stores, they don't hold much meaning for me now - it's all part of  life that's over.  I just need to take one day at a time and trust that God will reveal his plan for me.

That\'s great news about the interview. I\'m trying to get back to work too, and sent off an application yesterday. I hope work will help me get better.
Distracting yourself from your grief can be a useful tool to get by. It can be draining just waiting to see what God has in store for us, and the fact that you\'re able to think about work is a step forward.
It\'s a hard time of year, with all the sentimental reminders the season brings. Even though I have a family of my own, I still get choked up this time of year because I miss my grandparents so much more.
I hope your aches and pains start to improve.
