Moving on, again (didn't I just say this?)
Well, I've done all I can do this week with my "battles". Time for a recharge! Today, the dogs and I are going to go take photos in the forest. My plan for the photos is to try my hand at painting landscapes. I'm a pretty good artist (though I've never done landscapes before) and I've been studying techniques... how to make leaves, and pine trees, and moss on rocks. It's one of those things that tickle your thoughts whenever you have moments of peace and you keep telling yourself "Someday..." Don't know how soon I'll be holding the brush, but at least I'm starting... (I'll post the photos when I get back)
This afternoon - gardening.... Got 2 more lilac bushes to plant (the others are growing NICELY and the sunflowers are now 4 inches tall)... gotta mow, weed eat, water EVERYTHING, a trip to the dump and then bike for 3 hours (more recharging), then dinner with my son and daughter-in-law. Have I said how GRATEFUL I am for my life? TOTALLY GRATEFUL. And I think the stages of divorce are finally OVER! YES!

Mac.... fast divorce required lots to gritting teeth, lol. He said sell the house... I said what makes you think the house will sell in it\'s condition (had holes in walls, holes in bathroom floor, torn linoleum, scratched cabinets, cracked ceiling)? I then said, how about if I pay you your share of payments made so far ($6,100) and put in a clause that IF I ever sell, you gets a percentage of equity, after repairs, and based on how long he lived there.... DEAL. (and I don\'t EVER intend to sell - rent, maybe and the rent will be ALL MINE - AND when I fixed it for the appraisal, I raised the value by $30,000!). Furniture... wanted my rocker which was hard as a rock, and he\'s disabled and can\'t sit in it anyways.... so I offered to buy him a big recliner from the 2nd hand store ($20). DEAL. Dogs - Wanted Bear... So I suggested joint custody... he has all dogs while I\'m at work, I have them evenings and weekends.... PANIC! He said he can\'t have dogs at the motel... really? So I put it in the papers that the dogs will stay with me and only me, permanently and HE pays all their food and vet costs - I pay the cats\'. Clever, Huh, lol. You just gotta be able to live with whatever you offer.
Hurtin... the secret is to decide to live TODAY. Sure the pain hurts and might slow you down, but a walk in the woods, at the park, on a bike path is like a cooling bandage. I try to do something outdoors EVERY day and it charges me up do deal with whatever\'s coming. Look for the ADVENTURE today! {{HUGS}}
I saw your photos. I used to ride my old horse in an old quarry that became a protected area. Galloping uphill and dodging the trees. I would give him his head and he would slide down a hill and into a stream. We had great fun. Your wonderful pictures reminded me of his younger days. Thank you.
Smart lady. I have some of those clauses too in my setlement. Thanks to my atty. \"him again\" pays me alimony until the farm sells. No one had any idea the economy would be this bad. He has to pay me half the cost of the improvements I have put on this farm. He has to pay me the amount of principle I have paid towards the mortgage.
Best of all the new wife will never live on this farm. If he dies his half of the farm is mine. If I die before it sells my half goes to my daughters. LOL
It didn\'t seem fair for someone almost 25 years younger than me to get part of what I had worked so hard to acquire.
