Moving in a Good Direction One Step at a Time
I am losing count of how many days I have been doing these 300 (more or less!) words. It's maybe becoming as rooted in to my daily regime as toothbrushing and dressing. Just what you do every day to feel good about yourself.
And I do feel good abbout myself! I am tickled pink that Koon found me and that what I am doing is helpful to him as he is helping me.
Like I couldnt think what to write about and he came up with several suggestions-like picking a word from the dictionary and writing a paragraph on it, or choosing a person I know well to describe.
I though about Bryan first of course, why not Ivan? Well in some ways I dont think i know him very well. Which is good as we have lived together for nearly a year now...
But could I describe Bryan? A Sufi Dervish? or an indigent idler. Which? I know he is endlessly patient with me. And loves his music. And is a deep and slow thinker. Inclined to bond in haste and repent at leisure. An excellent chef who always keeps his knives sharp. A loyal friend and a willing neighbour. Great sense of humour. No self pity. Proud and uncomplaining. Sensitive. green fingered. A self starter. Stubborn.
I love Bryan very much.
I love feeling these loving feelings. I feel love for Ivan and Arnie, Bryan, Lisa, and a heap of other people but these are my closest support people (and dog!). I even feel love for my workmates when I am in this good place. And a special thanks to my daily Strength friends of course.
DS is a magical place and so much fun to have pen pals from all over. I just wish we could all meet in the flesh. What about a DS Convention???
I am not a brave person as regards travelling-so there may well be a DS Convention and im too scared of flipping out to attend. How ironic! From an original idea by Dinah Morris who sadly cannot be with us.
I will select a word from the dictionary for my next rambling.
Dont know if this is up to 300 words and I can't be arsed counting.....
Yes I feel good.
I didnt walk Arnie today owing to having to do work thing first thing, so intend to walk him twice tomorrow. As Koon says, I am conscientious!
