Moving again!!
I've been pondering in my heart what to do, my fiance works 6 hrs north of where we moved to and we have been looking for a new house, as we live on a Main Floor of a 4-plex and have had alot of trouble with the single Mum and her daughter, 14 and in and out of jail and foster care, so we have decided to move out, Well been looking for houses to rent and haven't found and i think i know why as Syl's boss here asked him to move to Edmonton area as that is where he will be working from now until winter and into next year, My daughter does not want to move, we are very close, always together, go shopping and what have you, she is my best friend even though she's my daughter, I have thought of leaving Syl but where would that get me, nowhere as we want to be together and get married, that may be on hold until we move and fix our vehicles and such,So she will go live with her Dad and brothers, I will miss them very much but have been advised that my and his kids are growing up and will be on their own soon, my son plans to graduate next year and work for a year and go to college to be a electrician, awesome!! He's my baby and a wonderful young man!!Syl is my world as are my kids, I don't know if I will survive being along but he should be home alot more and at nite and on weekends when there's not work he will be able to be home, as for now he sleeps in his semi up there in a parking lot and could be home here with me,This is a very big decision and I hope & pray to God i make the right one as the evil has been telling me to leave and I have no where to go, God isn't telling me to leave so I might as well be in this relationship cause we love each other and are very attached when he's home with me!!But having a relationship on the phone 24-7 ain't for us so doing this will enable us to grow and blossom together!!Thanks be to God who is in control and who will never leave our side!!Thanks to all my wonderful friends on here for listening to me blabble, lolGod bless you all now & foreverShorty

What a hard decision! I pray that you make the right one. I wish the best for you.
Wow...what a decision! But I have to say, I agree with your plan to move since your children are growing up. Leaving Sly would not be the answer since you two are planning a life together as your children grow and will go off on their own. This is the time for you to get your life back and your life is with Sly. I understand how hard it is going to be, but just as a child leaves the nest, you to must move forward with your future. I wish you the best of luck and look forward to talking with you soon, With love, Sandy
Hi Ladies, actually we have decided not to move there and leave my kids!! Syl said this ain\'t good for me and i\'d be too lonely for them as they are awesome and still young and need me, now my hubby is trying to get transferred only 1.5 hrs from here which is only 1/2 hr away from my son, my daughter is alot happier as she will stay and live with us, plus my son plans to go to college there in that city in 2 yrs after he graduates and works for a year, I knew the move up north may not be for us and as he works there he drove around and it\'s high cost to live there as well, so I hope we can get this to go thru with his boss and move and be happy,
This would make Shorty very happy and also alot closer to my parents if we move there, 11/2 hrs north they live in a nice and quiet little town, I love going there cause it\'s so peaceful even though they are snowbirds and go to Arizona for 4 months in the winter, I find that hard as well cause I\'m too much of a baby and need family in my life!!
I hope God has heard and will answer my prayer, I\'m not going to let my daughter go live with her Dad as he can\'t afford to look after both my kids and plus his 3 yr old from his last marriage, 10 yrs ago today he left our family unit and now we are still good friends and I just care too much for people I guess, but I told him, him and his little guy are in my life, that takes alot of guts to admit and be so caring to my ex, my family don\'t understand but that\'s okay they have never walked in my shoes!!
Thanks for listening as I have alot on my heart right now and stressed to the max!!
God please give me the peace and strength from above, Amen!!
It is very wise to hand this to our Lod & let him guide & help you along the way. Not rushing into snap decisions is a good approach to take. Analyzing the good & bad points abt the decisions can enable you to make the right decisions. It is true that when children mature & start to shape their own lifes it can bring abt big changes for our lives. I think you\'re blessed with having a wonderful man to walk this road with you.
Eileen, I understand where you are coming from, My youngest daughter and I are really close like that, but i\'ll give you something to look forward to, when I moved to Oklahoma, she decided to stay with her dad, she was 13, it broke my heart but I had to follow my parents and go where the jobs and family was to help. When she was 15 she followed me, she is now 26 years old and is my best friend. Your daughter may not choose to follow you when she\'s 15 but i\'m willing to bet she will eventually come to you. As for moving towards a new life with the man you plan to marry, yes your kids are growing up and will go on with their lives, and you can bet that if your daughter meets a man and he lives in another state when she\'s older, she too will follow him. it is the way of things. Good luck with you\'re move and let your heart be light, i\'m sure your daughter will follow :)
Love your friend Pam
LOL as always i\'m a day late and a dollor short! what ever decision you make is the right one especially since you let the lord guide you :)
Thanks Pam & Kitty for your gracious words!! It\'s a great new year and we have decided to stay here for now, he works away up north for 12-15 days, it\'s okay even though someday it will be better when he works or finds another job closer to home, I hope it changes before we retire, lol,
So looking forward to retirement and being together 24-7, alot of people don\'t understand but they would if they walked in our shoes,
God bless all you ladies & my friends!!
