Mournday

Dearest,
     My dearest Abby, please pay as little attention as you like to this journal entry, it's really aimed at the helpful folks who have been reading over my shoulder.
  The sugar bowl! It was not part of a set, it was a simple glass sugar bowl that looked very much like this one;

I already threw it away, yes you're correct, I should have looked for a name or any other marking first. The one that was part of a set I broke quite a while ago. Long story, major emotional upheaval. The set was bequeathed to her friend. That has already been taken care of. There was nothing special about the sugar bowl except that I liked it.
  Taxes, I have two accountants, two lawyers, and a financial investments guy (Schwab) if they can't figure it out screw it I'll go to jail. Seriously though, I'm not worried about the ins and outs, I have plenty of guidance, I'm just dreading all the paperwork. I will have an EIN number tomorrow if the IRS cooperates and that's a step.
  Squirrels; I am a veteran squirrel fighter of many years. Abby used to laugh at me so hard she would cry. I get downright outraged, and have even been known to try and catch the little vermin by hand, much to the cats amusement as well I'm afraid. It gives me something to be angry at that is harmless. I certainly can't catch them and if I were to do harm to one I would feel terrible. Nonetheless, I hate them for the destruction and the havoc they wreak. They do not just eat the birds food they destroy the feeders. The local corvids take care of defending part of the yard and the rascals have learned to avoid that area. There is also a Red tailed hawk in the neighborhood that I am considering trying to convince to hang out in my yard. A few dead mice on the shed roof ought to suffice. Red tails eat squirrels, squirrels are aware of this. The last couple of winters I lucked out and had a Great Horned Owl hanging around. The squirrels kept a mighty low profile! GHOs eat squirrels too!
