Dearest,
Lots of snow! Seems like all I did was deal with it, I was remembering how we used to do it together and worry about each other, and fight. Was nice remembering but so sad, I didn't cry thankfully, it was so cold out that my face would have been totally frozen. I was out on the road within an hour after it stopped. Couldn't get your car free, there was a 4' drift on the driver's side, nowhere to put the snow except throw it over the car, no way! I cleared the back, tunneled in and backed it out. Must have looked pretty odd, a pile of snow with a car coming out of it. Driveway is all clear now, took till 4:00. Still have to dig or snow blow a path to the garbage and the shed. There's a 5' drift on the cellar doors I have to move because I need to get the roof rake and clear a 2' drift on the front roof. Tomorrow will be more snow removal. The snow blower worked perfect, first time in three years. Ran out of gas once, my fault, but that was the only problem.
After all that physical activity I took a nice nap. I came in, ate bananas and cookies and warmed up first. No progress on the kitchen, maybe tomorrow, weather permitting.It is so strange coming in from the snow to the smell of orange blossoms, yet so familiar, remember? Did some more of your paperwork, missing a statement from August, where'd you put it? Have to check in with doogie lawyer tomorrow. You would have just hated this weather, I know but I miss you so. I have to get my ass in gear and get a lot of stuff done by the end of the year.I keep thinking that I see you out of the corner of my eye, but when I turn to look, there's no one there.It happened twice today while I was shoveling. Having scrambled eggs and bacon for supper, Hah! You know I make good scrambled eggs! I gave the cats some catnip yesterday afternoon, those two stoners were up all night raising hell, kept waking me up. Won't do that again.
