Mothers Day Weekend

Friday night Val came over again as her and my brother are not back together as of yet. I also had promised Mandy, her daughter that I would take her to have her nails done for Mothers Day and she wanted to bring her son Treyzon over to play  with the kitties on Saturday. Al sent us to the store for supplies as he was going to "Do the Cows.. lol.." on Saturday. They give them shots and tag their ears and put a spray on them for insects and then the poor males have to have their testys cut off so they wont be bulls. I hate to witness that part and then they brand them and I absolutely hate that too.. Glad I missed out on that this year. Anyway so we went to the store and it took us two hours. We went to the deli part and a young couple were buying meats and cheeses so Derrick the deli guy gave us free samples of different meats and cheeses that we hadnt tasted. The guy with his wife is a chef so he told us what to test and we sit and talked about the show Hells Kitchen. lol.. Then we went to pay for the stuff and to get ice and the ice machine was broke so I had to get help with some ice out of the back. The ice machine was right by a game where you spend 50cents and try to win stuffed animals. Val one a bear and a little purse with a dollar. I kept trying for a bear for my poodle and finally got it with six bucks.. Not quite as lucky as Val. Needless to say Al was not very happy when we got home at 9pm (we were buying food for dinner as well) and he went to bed hungry.. Oh well, we had fun.. lmao.. Saturday Mandy and Treyzon came over about 10am and we went to get beautiful at the nail salon.. Forgetting it was mothers day weekend, the place was packed and Tony told us to come back at 12:30 so we had to go bummin. We went to a mothers day boutique and bought lots of fun stuff including a cute wolf dog for Treyzon.. He loved it. Then we went back and had our nails and toes done. After that we went and bought the veggies to plant and some allready potted flowers to hang. I bought one that is in a half barrel with an awesome tree and its huge. It sits on my front deck (that one cost $100 but I took off the tag so Al wouldnt know hee hee). By then we were exhausted and Mandy and Treyzon went home and later Al came home and we made sandwiches and then went to bed. Sunday morning, Al cant even get out of bed because his back was killing him. Clayton my brother called me and wished me H moms day and then spoke with Val. He invited her to a movie so she left early. I went out and did hours of yard work and put on some barbequed spare ribs for dinner. Dakota my son came over and brought me a new memory card for my camera and a Cd of James Blunt.. loved it. Ryan (my other son) and Millie came over and brought a dozen roses and two Cds. One cd of Amy Winehouse and one of Panic at the Disco.. Loved all of it.. Alvin gave me a new white and pink Harley Davidson jacket. It was absolutely beautiful.. We had dinner and the kids went home and Als granddaughter came over with a little photo album book of both of her girls for me.... It was absolutely precious.. So all in all it was a wonderful Mothers Day except for Als broken back.. poor guy... I know how he feels.. Still sober and feeling good except for my own personal pains.. As always remember to play nice with your loved ones as you never know when they wont be around... I love you all and thanks for your friendships.. You all mean the world to me and help me to keep from being depressed. Depression is such a horrible disease. I am blessed that my kids did not get this..
