Mothers Day
Another mothers day here and gone. My mathew gave me a hug, but I don't know if he knew that the day was suppose to be special for mom. He told me he hated not having dad. Dad made sure my birthday and mothers day were special. And he didn't have to worry about it. He just doesn't know what to do. I guess we just never taught him that.Well, I did the breast cancer walk 5k in down Philadelphia. Had to be there early and that I was. It was nice and plan on having Matt do it next year with me. It was a sad thing to watch people walk in honor of someone. But you definitly could see each person was there in Love. If you have never been to Philadelphia, you should come. It is a city that has so much history you can taste it when you ride into the city. I enjoy being there but could not live there. I have beautiful memories and nothen like a soft pretzel from a vender on the corner. When I see those groceries carts, a powerful emotions just flow over me from head to toe. They remind me of a time when I had no worries, or cares. And just had my friends to laugh and go to the Phillies with. For those of you who never saw a Philadelphia pretzel vender. They stand on corners selling pretzels in a brown paper bag It is something about a pretzel and the car fumes that make it taste great. LOL. ALso can't eat one with out mustard. I was one of those venders many years ago in 1986 it was alot of fun, the price was 3 for a buck. Now it is 2 for 5. Shows were the dollar has gone in our great nation. Bad news today my father in law fell. And is in the hospital. I am so upset I could spit nails over this. We are killing this man. I hope my sister in law decides to put him in the home. He needs care. And if he doesn't go in a home, then get more help. First I know if my husband was alive we would have moved in already. And this breaks my heart. I want to step up to the plate and say I will move there. But I don't feel like it is all my responsibility. my father in law was always there for me and my husband and now to whatch him get worst and worst it just drives me crazy. And I am not looking forward to the day he looks in my eyes and says I don't know you. Even know he is almost there. Dementia, is a horrible thing and how can we stop it. Should I start my son on organic so he can help not being like that. Oh boy I am babbling so much that I ran out of time I will write later. Must go make breakfast for my little prince.
