Mothers day
My daughter and her boyfriend came to my house for mothers day and gave me a card and some flowers and a bag with a gift. They told me to open the gift and when I did their were baby booties in it......I'm gonna be a grammy..YEAH!!!!!! I wish they waited until after the wedding,because that was causing enough stress but I'm happy anyway. She's only 1 month pregnant so I hope all goes well. I hope she still fits in her dress come June...lol. I wish Bruce was here, he loved babies and never had any of his own I think he would have been a great grandpa. And maybe it would have helped his and Jenn's relationship. But I'll never know and I'm not going to dwell on that. A grand baby is gonna bring so much joy back into my life. I cant wait....On a bummer note today was also my sons 27th b-day and he didnt come here for mothers day or his b-day. This makes 2 yrs in a row. I hate that he does this. When he did it last year I told him I dont like missing his birthday, he said Mom its just another day. I said well not to me its not. This year he went to New York to party with friends,so I'm missing him again. I just feel like I raised him alone since he was 9, he could show me some respect. I hope some day he grows up. Oh well maybe next year...

Oh Lori, I am so excited and happy for you. This will be an even greater joy than you can imagine. I know you will be a wonderful Grammy. Oh I know you will feel Bruces\' prescence, but he is watching over yall. When my grandson and his wife;s baby was born in March 31se, Michael and I both cried a lot of tears of joy, but we also cried sad and heartbreaking tears becausem Canron will never get to meet and know his grandpa.(my son, Steven.) Steven would have been so very proud, I am mad at Steven for not staying here with us. Love,Peggy

Oh LORI I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!!! When our daughter was pregnant with the first one Jim and I came home and there were PINK colored footprints going up the driveway and when we got into the house there was a bouquet of PINK balloons.. We were so happy... Jim was a great PAPA, spoiled her sooo bad. When she was 5 mths old he felt her room was too warm and went out and bought her an air conditioner. They years went along and we soo enjoyed her and just thought she was going to be the only one, it was their choice. My daughter became pregnant 1 mth. after Jim\'s death, now have another grandaughter that just turned one last week. I so wish that Jim was able to meet her, we just have to hope that they are watching from above and they DO know. You are going to be such a great gramma, grammy, nana????. I am sorry about your son, I guess we sometimes cannot just figure out what is going thru their minds. What our priorities are are so different from theirs.. But, I am sure that he LOVES his Mom... Best wishes and soooo happy for you...... Don\'t stress out too much, everything is going to be beautiful...

Lori, you don\'t know me, but I just wanted to say that a grand-baby does bring so much joy back into one\'s life. My grandson is 6 months old now and such a precious gift. My daughter and son in law named him after my late husband. Congratulations!!
