Mother In Law

Dear Jody,

It's 4:00 am on January 2, 2015 and I'm lying on an air m exe fegd g eSattress next to your son in the hospital. We have been here for nine days now.

The anger I feel for you is palpable. The thought of your selfish display of parental neglect makes my heart rate and blood pressure sky rocket.

You are at the root of the hell your son has been in for his entire adult life. Let's start there. His childhood would take a completely different letter.

You love to play victim and martyr. You can't get through a conversation with me or any member of your family without lying. You had me fooled for years. Poor Jody. Victim of an abusive husband and friendship gone wrong, my heart went out to you. For years I defended you to your other children. Now I see the truth.

Your inability or refusal to deal with your problems makes me wonder if you want to play the role of victim and martyr. Your refusal to take an active role in your life has contributed to most of the problems you and your family has had to endure.

If you would have pulled your head out of your ass long enough to notice the world around you, your son probably wouldn't have cancer. Your daughter would probably be alive, you and your family wouldn't be in danger of a sociopath, your husband would be getting the help he so desperately needs, your other daughter wouldn't be a selfish monster, and you probably wouldn't have Lord knows how much debt your in, and you wouldn't be living on a pile of garbage.
