Mother' Day ... another first
Ask me a week ago if I thought Mother's Day was gonna be rough and I would've said No problem, it's my day so it shouldn't be to bad. Well, for the past few days and especially yesterday I couldn't stop crying. I always said the greatest gifts my husband ever gave me were my kids. He made me a Mom and from day one I loved it. He made it easy being the Dad that he was. His kids meant the world to him. I know they miss him as much as I miss him escpecially the last few days. I have to remember that he is living on in his children and grandchildren. He's still here and will always be with me forever in my heart.

It\'s the love of our husband\'s that made every day special and on Mother\'s Day their absence is sadly missed. If possible try to focus on the love you shared and the sweet memories that made your day so special. I\'m thinking of you on this special day. Sharon
Hi Dawn....Happy Mother\'s Day to you. It is a tough day for those of us who have lost but we have to remember how lucky we were to have such wonderful love in our marriages. Our children remind us of that love and even though it is so difficult, I think we can make it through this day. It is just like the other days we have survived...sad and empty. Hugs...Nancy
These firsts are so hard. Happy Mother\'s Day. Randy\'s with you. Hugs, Kip.
There are many firsts for us to venture through...let\'s hope it gets a little easier after we have all gone through those \"firsts\"....seems I have been crying more lately the last few days too...hugs Ellen
Happy Mother\'s Day to you. So sorry it\'s been unexpectedly hard.
Hugs, Gail
I know how you feel. Half of me was missing yesterday.
love Heather
I was lucky enough to see all the kids and grandsons yesterday. Each one reminded me of my husband in a different way. It was like Catkin said, half of me was missing. But I know he is still here with me as well.
