Mother

I had a very bizarre interaction with my mom last night. We were communicating over text messages and I guess we have different ways of interpreting texts. Because I responded in 45 minute intervals, she thought I was being rude and unappreciative and told me that. I only reached out to her to tell her why I had been distant lately. She was trying to help and give advice which was not my intention. I changed her name on my phone to "DO NOT ANSWER." Hopefully that helps me think about what I say next time or not to say anything at all. The surprising thing is she sent me a really nice apology this morning. I really needed that and hope that even on this rainy day I can make it work.
