Mornings still rough but better

Just got back from lunch @ Qudoba w/ the boys! We had a good time making fun of each other! I find that coming into the office and going to lunch 3-4 days a week breaks up the week and helps to lower the depression. I really hope I can get myself over my current situation and just deal with it. I have at minimum 2 years before I can even try to sell that thing so I better get myself to accept and move on!  T just called and the new pup will be ready in early June! She’s all excited! It’s good to hear her happy again…she has been so down since our dog got sick last Fall and we had to put him to sleep a few months back. I hope everything works out with the new little guy!   So the Pens are playing tonight! Heading out with the boys to watch somewhere…not sure where yet. Tomorrow I’m helping T with her yard and Sunday is the big Mothers Day party plus Pens game that night! The meds are helping me to enjoy things a bit. Before the meds I felt like nothing was enjoyable at all! It took a couple of weeks to kick in but I think they are starting to do their job. Thank God because I was a freakin wreck before! I couldn’t function properly!   Mornings are still rough as I wake up and worry about that stupid place but at least I can motivate out of bed and get things done. It used to feel impossible to do the simplest of tasks. Now it only takes an hour or so to shake off the nasty feelings and just get on with my day. This is one strange illness. I hope and pray I can beat this thing so future episodes can be eliminated quickly before I spiral out of control like a few months back. I still have work to do but I like the direction I’m in now. God willing we can all get through the darkest of days and come out better people for it!  Friday, May 09, 2008 1:07 PM
