Morning Phone Call
I got an early phone call. It was my daughter. She had just came from the hospital. From what the nurses told her, my ex has cancer in her spine, her lungs and in one leg. The prognosis is not good but, they are doing more tests today. The nurse said that the cancer is extremely aggressive kind (fast moving). My ex is in denial and says she does not have cancer. My daughter is an emotional mess. 5 years ago next month, my son (her younger brother) was killed in a car wreck. My daughters said "dad, I just don't know how I am going to handle this"! This is so hard for me.

I am so sorry. You have had so many trials lately. It is hard when you want to mend a relationship and the other person isn\'t willing, especially when they could use your help! It\'s great that you and your daughter are there for each other.
This is sad news and I pray your ex will turn to the Lord. I also ask that God comfort your daughter....she is overwhelmed....I know you will be there for her and your ex when the time comes. God bless you all....love, dale...brandon\'s mom
Right now I guess the best thing you can do is to be there for your daughter as she will probably need you like she\'s never needed anyone quite so deperately before. That latest update on my ex is that she is denying she has cancer and she is requesting to be moved to another hospital for a second opinion. The drain in her side is still draining a lot of fluid from her lung area. We\'ll see what transpires next.
Denial is a stage of death and dying many go through.. I will keep you and your family in my prayers Peewee.. I am so sorry for your daughter.. I remember how much it hurts to watch your parents suffer.. God Bless all of you.. these are the times he loves us the most..xx
