morning from hell, problem with the toilet thing, but its almost okay now
had a morning from hell. no idea why. started out almost normal, and then it seemed like the valve by the toilet wouldn't shut? making noise and all that. i called rn, figuring byn might be there because they are still working on p's house (which is coming out beautiful by the way...still think they should enclose the carport into a screened in family room, seriously. the utility room is there anyway and the slab and side entrance to the house is there. then get one of those metal things for a carport for her car instead. have no idea if rn even mentioned this to p).
anyway, i got rn and she says it sounds like a leak. i am not at all awake in the morning. i become normal around 12, that is just the way it is. she thinks i said something different than what i said, which when not quite awake is very confusing. i say to her, i didn't even say that. she says she doesn't know where byn is, no schedule with him (amazing he is even helping with all that stuff, but that is another drama).
so the toilet is making that stupid running noise and i'm freaked thinking how much is this gonna be, and should i call a plumber and when will byn call back (you never know with him). then i realize we had the same thing at the house up north and it was the chain getting caught and that went on for months. it wasn't the chain on this. its the other part with that balloon looking thing that is kind of upright. so i tied it with those bread ties and twine and it stopped. yay me. before this i was totally flipping. so now to buy a kit and either attempt it on my own, i haven't tried any of that yet...or have it done. its extremely hot out so i doubt anyone is really out there doing anything.
lots of traffic and then totally dead. its really too hot even for the beach.

I hope you can fix your toilet! When I was growing up, tree roots came in through a crack in a pipe under the house. Our toilets always had problems.
yeah larissa, the plumber told me a few years ago that there is a way to have pipes above the ground and its recommended for areas like florida, though tree roots can happen everywhere. its the heat and the sand if you live near the ocean, that ruin pipes here, and the lack of space, or no space, under the houses if there is no basement.
i thought it fixed itself when i got home, but its not. i have to look up how to install that piece and see if i can do it before i call byn to do it. also the mailbox wood is rotting, i was going to blame animals, but its not, its the wood. when it rains it pours. so need a new mailbox and will use this one to store things when i\'m working in the garden. love that idea. its from \"life hacks\" on facebook.
the grey cat is still missing and junieb though i think she is the same one that teresa brought in, not sure though. ubu is still across the road, funny how cats do that. the people there take care of him since october of last year, he only shows up if i\'m away for a couple of days. miss him though. miss holding him.
monkey is missing from the other house. grrrr. haven\'t been by there lately.
