Morning coffee
Being only 15 feet apart in an rv with a raging mad alcoholic is stressful. Last night was my last night there. I woke up to drunken text messages this morning-he was again out drinking and driving last night. He had repotted the plants before I got home in a last ditch short time sober hail Mary hoping to be back in my Grace's. When I asked him to get my things out of storage and transferring the cable into his name he took on a nasty tone with me and told me I was being mean...then discovered I had HBO turned off and started ranting about being shitty with him. I reminded him 2 days ago he told me to have HBO shut off-alas..just part of forgetfulness that comes with being lit. The last time he got drunk , I had to repeat the nasty words back to him the following day that he said to me-that was the last chance I gave him and he blew it. I'm no savior and need to stop and save myself.
Apparently he thought space was just giving me my space while I lived at his house-but I think he was surprised when I took my things and left. I don't think he was counting on this. I still feel he is going to do something stupid in his anger and this will only seal losing me more. Sad part is, Ill worry about him and his dog. When he was good he was really good-but, unfortunately the bad seems to outshine it every time. Sad today.

Being 15 apart in an RV can be stressful, whomever, whatever I am 15 feet from, even if it's *just* the puppets in my own head. RV's are designed to hold adventures far more than stability.
Drunk, sober, drugged, glugged or a saintly in between, the choices of other people are not mine to sort.
Keep your eye on the prize, my independent woman. Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.
Pass the coffee. 2 sugars for me.
All of us have good and bad inside us and the fact that you can see that goodness in people is what you are made of which is Love...... however......that doesn't mean you have to be someone's doormat....See that love within yourself and love yourself enough to do what's best for YOU!
Living with an alcoholic is hard. Ask my ex wife and she will tell you all about it! When she left me..., that was the best thing that ever happened to me, ..although when she came barging through the doors of the detox ward I was in and yelled so everyone else could hear, that she was divorcing me, (We laugh about that now), but it gives you an idea of how upset people get with alcoholics and drug addicts! After seeing myself through her eyes....I don't wish that kind of life on anyone, including you and the chances of recovering from alcoholism, even with help such as AA,.. in or outpatient treatment or counseling, is only 25% which is what my counselor told me. Without help of any kind, it's less then 1% .
In summery, let me just say. If you stay away from him, it could motivate him to get help and at least have a chance at changing his life for the better, or he may use it as just another excuse and drink but the important thing is, you need to take care of yourself, focus on you and if you have any spiritual connection of any kind,....now.. might be a good time to access that power. Believe in yourself and love yourself because you are a good person with a heart of gold!
God Bless
