More radiation 3/4/13
My sister has started her second round of radiation treatments on her esophagus, close to where the stomach was attached after surgery. This is her second week of radiation. I'm hoping that the side effects won't be as severe as when she had chemo and radiation combined. Thoughts of her are still my first thoughts upon wakening. I hate cancer.

I will be saying prayers for her. I\'m new to this battle and finding it takes every ounce of patience and looking for something positive. Even a little thing, to help me.
Oh dear \"new friend\"...your plate is soooooooo full it is slopping over the sides, LOL. Prayers for your sister to have the strength both physically and mentally to go through this next phase of her journey. And prayers for you that you are taking care of YOU!! Cause if you are not...you can\'t be strong for your hubby or your sister. My solution is to eat ALL THE WRONG THINGS...one would think I would have been able to shed weight seeing I\'m not cooking for Chuck..but its not working out that way. LOL. Hugs!! Vicki
