More Prayers
I grew up moving continuously from one house to the next. I have been well-paid for evacuation and make ready on commercial properties. I have moved radical priests with pack rat natures across picket lines. I have helped shattered families sort through belongings in gutted houses in natural disaster zones. I have held the hands of brothers and sisters-in-healing through personal crisis severe enough to shatter a home.
Close down an in-law estate in the silver platter jungle? ? ?
Color me terrified. . . Anybody know where I can find a guide who speaks the White Trash dialogue?

Wishing you strength, extra resiliance and a calming presence. It is so much harder when you are personally linked with people you are helping and they will remain in your life long afterwards. Family has higher expectations sometimes, and so you are justified in being scared and overwhelmed by this task. You are an incredibly good person and you have done so much to help others. Could you call an estate planner. If what is to be done after everyone is given etc. whatever they want...Estate Planners will help you to set up an Estate Sale, organizing possessions and pricing.... Check around where you live/Estate Sale Planners.
Or places like Habitat for Humanity or Good Will, Big brother/sister will come and just take away 'stuff'...they wont take mattresses or bed couches. (((Hugs)))
The estate is in a popular boom town zip code. The real estate sharks were already circling and the bidding wars were going before the body was carried off.
They don't do stuff removal, much less sentimental sorting.
At the silver platter level, the established boom town protocol is to bulldoze any buildings more than 30 years old. Boom folk are on a quest for novelty, I reckon. Whatever that mysterious logic, we expect this house to be leveled by the end of the year. Maybe we can just let the steam shovels carry off the stuff with the house?
