More Positive Thoughts

I am feeling so much better. My mind is so much clearer than it had been in the past couple of weeks. I still should go for therapy, but at least my thoughts are more positive than before. I am scared of thinking like I was before. I couldn't imagine ever leaving my family behind like that. I feel like it was all a dream. How could thoughts like that ever come into my head?
Now the fun part is trying to explain to my husband that my condition has nothing to do with him. I was so embarressed or maybe just in denial about the whole thing until it got to a point that I had no choice but to deal with it.

I am so happy to hear that you feel better!!

I can also relate to looking back at those \"bad thoughts\" and wondering how we ever got to that scary dark place in the first place. But that is what depression can do to us.

But the good thing now is you are past that!! As for your husband, it is really important that he (and you), understand that this was a biochemical reaction and that it was as real of a disease as any other. That it is not his, or your fault, at all.

So glad to see you in a positive mood and that you are feeling better. Please though, dont stop counseling or your meds as depression can come back in force...so do what you need to do to stay healthy and happy!

Hugsss to you, Sandy
