More pain today

I am taking 300 mg of trileptal in the morning and 300 mg at night and still no relief. It seems that the only relief I get is when I am take the hydrocodone. The twitching pain in my right canine tooth is preventing me from eating today.  Today I took the hydrocodone and an hour later I am still in pain. I just dont understand why I am having such a bad day today.
