More on Return to Dating Scene.

I definitely desire to date again, It has been so long since I have been out of the dating scene. I also must be real that the dating scene has changed since then and adapt to those changes. I don't want to date a woman in her 20's. At that age, you are just learning about yourself and there is nothing wrong with that. I don't want to be used emotionally. I would prefer dating a woman who is close to my age group instead. What I have learned from my time off from the dating scene is that not allow no one to force you to start dating again.

When I was in a court ordered Child Support program that I hated, I had a Counselor who was horrible in every word and she had given me horrible advice. She advised me to start dating again and I wasn't ready mentally and emotionally. Not listening to her was the best thing to ever happen to me. Had I listened to the "advice" she had given, I would had 2 Babymamas instead of one! Now I am ready because I decided I wanted to date again. My brother was married and given himself time to heal from his divorce and is dating again.

Rather than date in the Summer, I want to do it in the Fall because I want to continue resting emotionally and mentally. I need to get my emotional house in order first. I don't want to address this issue for the time being in my future entries unless I decide to.

My rule was: don't date anyone young enough to be my daughter or old enough to be my mother. When I was ready, it was like someone flipped a switch. Suddenly, there were interesting women almost everywhere, where before finding a date was like digging for diamonds at the bottom of the ocean. I hope someone nice finds you when you are ready.
