More on pregnancy and sensativity

So, I have a friend who really wants a baby too. I have shared with very few that we’re trying to conceive again, because of our history w/ miscarriage. And when you’re trying to conceive and others know, they ask you all the time are you pregnant yet and that can get frustrating. So, my friend who is trying to get pregnant always ask me how are doing and are we trying. I don’t ask her this question because I think its sensitive and of all people, I think she would know this. So it makes me wonder, is this a competition about who gets pregnant first? And another hurtful thing is, a few yrs ago she had an abortion. I’m not judging her b/c she had an abortion, but I guess she thinks b/c she’s ready now she deserves to have a baby. I can’t wait until I have a healthy baby so all this will be just a blur to me someday…

Update on this journal entry: Well, the \"friend\" I was referring to in this entry just called me w/ her good news. Something told me when the phone rang she was call to tell me she was pregnant. So, I had to muster up everything in me to pretend I was happy. I cring at the thought of baby showers now. And she shared with me before she found out she was pregnant, that it bothered her when people ask when they were having a baby. And now she\'s pregnant she\'s giving me the third degree about when we are having a baby. Insensative! W/ friends like this who needs them? I almost feel like she just called to grind a ax. I am feeling numb to pregnancy...

I had to come back to this entry to vent. So this \"friend\" in this original entry called me today w/ drama and to talk about her pregnancy the whole time. I am so not a drama person. I have not been able to deal w/ her actually prior to her pregnancy b/c I learned that she has qualities that I would rather not have in a friend. At this point, I am just considering her someone that I have known for a while. Today she said on the phone, she always initiates the calls and was seeing how long it was going to take me to call her. I wouldnt never say that to someone. Me and my \"real friends\" can go months w/ out talking. And when we do talk its like we missed no time. If she feels I\'ve been avoiding her, maybe she should take a hint. When she calls me, I\'m always there and she knows that. I\'m going through somethings that are far more important than pettiness. Maybe I should be flattered that she\'s so concern w/ what I\'m doing. And that\'s the thing, a real friend is more concerned w/ how you are doing. Maybe she will take a clue. W/ all that said. Be careful who you call friends! I\'m thankful for daily strength sisters:) Funny thing is that we never met, but that doesnt bother me at all. I just had to get that out:)
