Ray found out yesterday that the RA drips he has been having every 4 weeks are no longer working.  His markers for inflammation are as high as ever.  That explains the amount of pain he has been in lately.  He refuses to increase his dosage of pain meds, which part of me understands, but if we are in for the day, and I am feeling well, what's the problem?  It's hard to sit by and watch him struggle with the pain every day.
