As I sit here dreading my first Christmas without my Daddy, these words came to me. I often feel his presence and I believe he sent them via Heaven. I hope others find comfort in these words. He loved everything and everybody and would want to cheer us up!

Ever since your day of birth.
The days and months are rolling by,
And as the holidays draw near.
Remember I'm forever at your side,
As we welcome a New Year.
There's no need to buy me presents.
Heaven has everything I need.

Would be the greatest gift, indeed.
Don't ever try to figure out,
What you did or didn't do.
Cause When God decided to bring me home,
It wasn't meant to hurt you.
So please try to celebrate Christmas.
Be thankful for many reasons.

I\'m going through journal entries. This is so beautiful. You sometimes wonder WHY do we have to suffer like this. Does that pain ever go away. They say, in time, it lessens but it will never go away. I guess we will carry it through our life until it is our time to leave and join our loved ones FOREVER with the happiness and joy we know will be but the joy and happiness of what is to come is beyond our comprehension. This will be one of our greatest gifts from GOD being in the presence of our loved ones FOREVER.
