More happy?

I need a little kick in the butt toward happy. Guess I will give it to myself.
Oh man this week was busy - for me. And next week my father-in-law is having a pacemaker put in, so we will be with him.
I guess I am missing my alone time. It's been raining so Bob can't work. The rain is great! And I do enjoy having my husband home. So let's get to happy.
Bob cleaned the kitchen last night after I went to bed, so I woke up to a very clean kitchen and that was great!
We interviewed a new housekeeper. Ours got really sick and can't work anymore. I do miss our home being sparkling clean. And it seems like Janelle will do that. We shall see. I'm not big on people coming into our home, so really hope this works out. Okay, that's not the Pollyanna way to look at it, but dang, I was just getting used to Donna being here. And I'm very sad that she got so sick. So, bleh, new people. I so wish I could keep up with the house myself, but I can't. So there.
Which makes me feel like a bump on a log. And so sad. And this stupid oxygen is never going away. I guess this turned into a pity party. And back to happy . . .
Met my new nurse practitioner. She is wonderful! She had a happy story. When she was young she got pregnant. She gave her son up for adoption. She is about 60 now. She went searching and found him. He agreed to meet her. And they have become close. They even swam in the Alcatraz swim together - swimming from Alcatraz to San Francisco shore - which is crazy but cool.
Just sitting here in the quiet and breathing. Feel comforted. And happy again. Let the day begin. But slowly. Maybe I'm just worn out? I like to forget that I have this disease, but something pulls me back in and I remember. Ugh. Oh ya, breathing, quietly. Steady. I am strong. I am happy. Breathe in, breathe out. :)
