More good news

Yet more good news - finally things are mainly going right.  Got a weird message on my answerphone this afternoon, saying something about a bag found by the roadside.  So rang the number I was given.   Well this woman answered the phone and I said sorry this is a bit cryptic but i'm returning a call reference a bag found by the roadside.  Well it only turns out it's my rucksack that was stolen from our house 2 weeks ago.  Her husband was cycling and saw this rucksack which looked full, thought it a bit strange and looked in it, saw a wallet and took it home.  Today she then rang Tesco and RAC (2 cards that were in the wallet) and they rang me with her contact details (can't work out from the message though which of them it was). Other things in it include DS Game boxes (the empty ones they stole), my base ball cap from the car and some other stuff.   So we have arranged on Monday to go and collect it.  Have spoken to the police about it and i'm to collect it as arranged and then take it to the local police station who will send it for fingerprinting etc.   No sign of the electrical items etc but not surprised on that, this sounds like the stuff they nicked that they didn't want or was of no value to them.  Still more `useless to them' stuff missing, so after picking it up on Monday we're going for a little drive around the area it was found, just in case there is other stuff discarded along the way.  So watch this space.
