More explanation
I probably should explain that the girlfriend didn't move in while our son and I were still there. She moved in the day after we left the house but before our stuff was moved out.
I left on a Thursday night and filed for divorce the next day. He started moving her in Friday night. I found a house on Sunday and my Church moved us out on Monday while I told the new "family" to stay away from the house. We never saw each other during that time. I had one son away at college and one son who was sick that week so thankfully neither of them had to experience that during that weekend.
That was 5 months ago and I have done reasonably well. I have my days when I am good and days when I am not so good. I'm working on it.

You have to rejoice in the good and sort of endure the not so good, but with time, the bad stuff will fade. Hopefully, all of your days will soon be filled with joy and good things!
It will get better in your own time. When you are ready the bad times will recede from your memory. Not disappear but not as important.
I\'m 2 and a half years post divorce. It has gotten a lot better. I can now go into town on a Sunday and not cry all the way home. Sunday\'s were bad days for me.
Just acknowledge the bad days and cherish the good. The good days will start to come more often than the bad.
Divorce can be so painful. I know where you\'re coming from! Was with stbx for 17 years, married 12. Got tired of his emotional abuse and philandering so I left. He wasted no time shacking up in our old home with a black woman. I am heartbroken , wanted \"happily ever after\".
