More court, no results
So now he's going to plead guilty, or so he says. He's been fighting this for over two years and suddenly he changes his plea. With that said, you may thing this would be over, but its not. He has now dragged his guilty plea on for four months. Went to court yesterday and apparently the report from the court appointed psychologist was not in. Why? Because he has not paid for it yet. They won't release it to court until it gets paid for. So yesterday it was continued for another two weeks. Ridiculous. In two weeks I'll go back just to find that he hasn't paid for it again. so now what? Where do we go from here and what happens if he never pays for it?

I understand where you\'re coming from! They seem to be able to do everything in their power for the abusor, take as long as they want when I thought that they were supposed to have the right to a fair and speedy trial. Where are the victims\' rights??? What are they supposed to do in the meantime while the prosecutors just twiddle their thumbs? Supposedly, our abusor, I like to call it, \"It\", will be sentenced on July 23rd. That\'s when the true healing will begin. I pray for you and I will continue to do so.
Wow what the heck is going on with our court system ? Sounds ridiculous to me that your ex can continue to manipulate the system but thats why they call it the criminal justice system. It is exactly that for the stinking criminals. Hopefully justice will prevail and soon for you and your daughter. Can CPS keep him away forever, or will he be able to have supervised visits when they let him out ? I would hope with him pleading guilty your daughter will never have to see him again.... Hope things are improving for you both !!
