More C25K stuff

I did the next part of my C25K workout today- 2.5 miles. That's the farthest I've walked in countless years. I managed it at a pace of about 27 minutes a mile on the treadmill for 2 miles, and then slower as I walked to the gym and back (it's a quarter mile each way) for a total of about 30 minutes a mile. I was wiped out from walking so fast at the gym that I almost crawled home, but I made it. Friday I have 2.75 miles to do, and then next Friday I do the 3.1 miles. I'm excited! I'm trying to decide what to do next- the 5 week walking and jogging program or the 8 week longer but more jogging program. I guess I will decide when I see how much I can jog on Sunday. I was supposed to go jogging this past Sunday but I was out with the in-laws, so I didn't. I had a good workout, even if the treadmill and I did have a bumpy start (I got on, I had to get something out of my pocket and fell off but I'm okay... I hope I don't end up on YouTube or something). I'm embarrassed, but now I know what not to do. Geo and I had a laugh about it when I got home. It's been a long time since I've been on a treadmill like I said yesterday. I kinda liked doing it at the gym, especially since it was raining today, but I'm not sure how I'm going to continue- gym or outside.
Food I did well on today. I ate a ton of veggies- I had a ton of salad for breakfast (like, 2 big bowls of it) and then for my night snack I had some frozen veggies in pasta sauce. I got my veggies today, I tell you. I love them :) I also had a couple servings of my macos (corn tortillas with sour cream and hot sauce, sometimes I put salad in them but today I didn't) and regular dinner (baked chicken, mashed potatoes and corn). I should start eating my oatmeal again for breakfast tomorrow, since it's been a while since I've had it. Well, like a week, but still. I like oatmeal, I buy the huge box at BJ's with 52 packets. It used to be 55, but like everything they are cutting down the size and upping the price. Milk is now $3.19 there now (it was 2.99 the last time I went there last month) but it's still better than the 3.89 that Publix charges. Sorry, that's enough talk about food prices.
Mood today was good. I woke up feeling good, got about 11 hours sleep and the good mood just kept going throughout the day. I did have some depressions come in, but they were just mood swings and they didn't last for too long. I hope I can keep up the good mood tomorrow. Starting tomorrow and for the next week, Geo is going to have access to a car so we will be mobile for a couple days. It will be nice to be able to get around, go grocery shopping on our own without having to worry about taking it home on the bus or someone waiting in the car for me. I'm kinda excited about that, too (having the car). We might go to the movies on Tuesday, we've been planning on trying to go see Green Lantern since it came out, but for one reason or another (mostly lack of funds for June) we haven't made it. So maybe this Tuesday we will make it. The movie theater by our house has $5 movie Tuesdays, that's why we want to go on Tuesday.
Stress was kinda high for a bit today... Something is happening right now as I type that could be big, or not. I don't know what's going to happen (it's nothing to do with me, really, but with my mom) and if it's going to end up neutral or bad. I don't think it's going to end up as bad as I think it's going to (I always think worst case scenario) but I don't think it's going to just pass over without a blip on the radar. I will call my mom tomorrow and see how things turned out, if I don't get called tonight by someone screaming at me for something I didn't do. I don't want to go into specifics since this is a public journal and it's a private thing that's happening. I already talked about sleep, so that's going to do it for today!
