More Bumps

 More hurdles to overcome with one spot of sunshine.  The spot of sunshine is that we finally have running water again.  Yeah!!!  After almost 3 months of melting snow  and hauling buckets of water to wash and flush it feels like I just gained about 6 more hours every day.  My whole time off has revolved around hauling, melting, heating and hauling again. Amazing how much we take for granted in this life! The tough, sad and frustrating news is that Allen got layed-off the same day we got our water back.  To make matters worse...he carried the medical insurance for the family.  So now I not only have to work enough overtime to cover what unemployment won't I also have to take the additional cost of insurance out of my paycheck.  I don't know how I can do that, put Ben through college (who's tuition is due by Wednesday), support the family and save enough money to have this surgery.  I know all things are possible but sometimes it's really hard not to become discouraged.  How can I work all these extra hours when I hurt so bad I can barely walk? I also found out my insurance won't cover Post Falls...they cover the hospital but the bariatric center is apparently a separate entity even though it's located within the hospital  and they don't have a contract with FCA.  Sacred is the only other show in town so that's what I'm stuck with.  More waiting.  Their packet says from seminar to 1st consultation is 4-8 months (yes...months, not weeks).  Post Falls was 2 weeks.  Plus it is not a CHS facility so that means a $2500 deductible and 20% of the cost out of pocket instead of 100% coverage and no deductible if one of the surgeons would do the surgery at Deaconess or Valley instead of Sacred Heart.  They all have priveleges at Deac and Valley but only do bariatrics at Sacred.   I'm going to the seminar on the 18th anyway.  I'm just going to get the ball rolling as if it's all going to work out and trust that it will.
