Moon Tides
From another mother whose son died of brain cancer the year before Andy:
*******************
"Know that in between the moon tides of grief and bereavement are moments/spaces that you will find the ebb tide, a place to embrace your mother's love of Andy, and it will ultimately sustain you.
"I didn't have the privilege to know Andy, and I am truly sorry that the whole world is now denied his living presence."
********************
We live in Maine. We live on the shore, by the tides. On the metaphorical pebbly shore, when that big dark moon tide of grief recedes now and then, we can pick up and look at bits and pieces, and hopefully see the rocks and shells of a man's life, the whole beach, within the context of the greater landscape of existence....once in a while.

Every word she says makes sense, only so beautifully put. Sounds like something you might say dear Sarah. I have wished that I could put words to my feelings the way that you do, but they escape me.
Keep up your beautiful writing of your beautiful son and whatever comes into your mind.
Your friend,
Gale Sue
Catching glimpses and getting to know your tender heart and Andy\'s through your words. This speaks volumes and touches me deeply. Loving hugs, Joanie
