Well, here is one good thing: just paid off the joint credit card with some of the tax money. Once the check clears, I’m getting my name off that card! Unfortunately, there’s not as much $ as I hoped leftover for my personal credit card, partially due to his spending, but also there was some things I needed as well (like a haircut!). But still a decent chunk can be sent toward the card.
 
I’m reading “Nice Girls Don’t Get Rich” by Lois Frankel. Interesting book so far, that mainly addresses financial attitudes & habits. I think it could have been edited more effectively, but it still has some great ideas that I can use.
