monday september 12

wow!a monday at work that left me feeling like i'd completed a 40 hour week already.
but not really all that bad, i figured out that that supervisor who was sssoooo
bitchy and mean last week, had severe flood damage to her home from the storms.
(she probably would have felt better, more supported and less disliked if she had disclosed the info sooner, but some peeps and their communication skills. huh?)
things on the home front under control: both sons returned to the nest safely after each decided to worry their poor mommy and travel into NYC during an increased terror alert weekend.    Yes! i realize i can no longer control their choices, they are men now. lol.
Prince Charming has been behaving himself. actually coping appropriately to his feelings while watching the 9/11 memorial on t.v. (he worked in downtown New York, 3 buildings over and watched the planes hit the towers out of his office window).  this is big for him in a recovery sense, however, i remain wary....very wary.
it is a beautiful night here. i just came in from sitting in the backyard, the moon is full, the stars are out and the crickets are chirping. i just sat quietly; breathing; being grateful for the good things i have; and turning over my worries.  i sent out some prayers for all those who need them.
i kept thinking of a line from a Dave Matthews song that goes: "tell me everything is all taken care of by those qualified to take care of it all" so i gave my worries to whoever it is that is more qualified than i am to fix them.  Amen.
