The hospice nurse came over today. She communicated with the Hospice doctor. Mom has been taking off her BiPap mask, even taking off her oxygen cannula. She has not been eating or drinking hardly at all. In the middle of the night, Mom will say "I got to get out of here." These are all signs that the end is near, according to the doctor :(
I love my mom, and wish her peace, comfort, love, and to be held in the arms of God, here on Earth and when she passes on to the next step.
I don't want her to go. I will miss her desperately. We have had our ups and downs, she has driven me crazy, she has been the root of my depression - all negatives - and yet she has been a good mom too. She has always been there for me to the best of her ability. She has never thrown me away. I have always been her daughter, much as she criticized me all the time. She is my Mom, and I love her.
God please watch over Mom for me, now and always and forever.
Amen.

I am glad you have hospice care for her. Your relationship with her sounds alot like my relationship with my mom. My mom was fairly critical of me most of my life, but I think she has mellowed some in her old age. Just let your mom know you love her. I am sure this is very tough time for both of you. God bless.
bb4, I feel for you, with your relationship with your mom. Yes - my mom has been critical every step of the way. Hard to take. I could somewhat laugh it off these last few years, but it did take its toll through my earlier life. My mom too, though, she has mellowed a bit, and it\'s refreshing to see she could learn to tone it down a little :) Many thanks for your very caring message, and God bless you too!
