Monday Blues

No it's not a song....Feeling really down. Three years ago my best friend died. His name was Rex and he was a 6 year old Shepherd/ Dobi mix that weighed 140 lbs and stood as tall as I do! He slept with me and Liz and when she went to work in the morning he would come up and share my pillow with me. I saved his life 2 years earlier at the shelter. I worked at the animal control facility and it was not a no kill shelter. He was so big no one wanted him even though he was a sweetie. I couldn't put him down so I adopted him. He had a wonderful life. I lost him to cancer. I hurt so bad at this time of year. It was like loosing a kid.
Thanks to all of my friends for being here and being a part of my life. You are special and I want you to know how much I appreciate you, all of you!
 
I changed my avatar to a Christmas picture. I opted for Santa because I have had a religious avatar for the last month!  I will do a reindeer pic from December 15th til the 1st
