Monday Apply for Security Jobs

Am deeply depressed that this video business I've been doing for the past 11 years was never going to get me ahead financially (whatever profit there is goes back into the business, to buy more expensive equipment in order to stay "current", which is impossible...the gear is obsolete before you even get it out of the box...and marketing support), but am kinda relieved that, hopefully, in the security industry, there is a supplemental option.  It won't pay much (and doesn't have to), and the boredom will most likely be a killer, but it seems a low-stress way to bring in a few hundred extra bucks a week, create a structure around weekend free-lance video assignments, and I'm really looking forward to holding down a post and having some quiet time to think, read, reflect, on life in general and what it all means, feel warm and wonderful, avoid emotional toxicity in others and try not to create it in myself...really sink deep inside myself, and earn a steady paycheck in the process.  Maybe there'll even be a computer at the desk there with internet access, so I can continue to chat with you wonderful people when not making the rounds of patrol!  Anyway, approaching 50, my health is more of a concern than getting financially rich.  I'm going to keep exercising (bike-riding and working out), and the structure of steady income will keep my mind at ease.  Then, if I get lonely, I'll look for someone to squeeze into that structure.
