Mom update
Mom's angiogram went well today. She has about 2 feet of blocked artery going from her upper thigh to just below her knee. I know that sounds bad, but it is better than blockage in the lower leg. Doctor does surgery tomorrow to relieve blockage ..... don't know yet if he can put in stints, or if he will have to do something more invasive. But, if all goes well, Mom may be out of the hospital by Friday. I stayed out of downtown tonight and the drive home was much easier on me, but I'm still shaky tonight.
I have to pick up my nieces (ages 9 and 15) in the morning and take them to Nashville with me. Please pray that I can rest up and my energy holds, and the girls and I have a safe, uneventful trip tomorrow!

Oh, so good that the angiogram went without complications. That\'s a lot of blockage, but once the surgeon goes in, it doesn\'t matter how much, it matters WHERE and this sounds like a very doable situation, Nancy.
Surely I will pray, (right now) for your mom, for you and for traveling mercies as you ride with your nieces!!! God is with you. God is with your mom, and I\'m going to pray that He directs the surgeons hands! These are the times where the tires meet the road, eh?? I feel ya! xoxoxo
I pray for God\'s light to enter your mom\'s body and that the surgeon will do well. I\'ll also pray for you and your nieces. I know how it feels to have young children in the car and to be concerned if your energy will hold out. I pray you will have supernatural strength today.
