Mom's surgery

My mom's surgery is Monday, and I just wanted to let people know that she is having the regular incision, not the robotic one that I had.  Personally, I think she should have had the easier one because she is over 70 years old, and will have a longer recovery, but she is satisfied with the doctor's explanation and wants to keep it the way he suggested.I have a lot of things on my mind tonight.My oldest son has disapeared, our little dog had an allergic reaction to his shots and had to go to the emergency vet tonight, and I got sick today trying to grocery shop by myself.  Luckily my daughter came into town and helped me get home.Now my daughter and I are going to play scrabble, relax and watch "Roseanne" while the dog's face goes back to normal hopefully.I have been praying for all of you, my very special friends!  As we all go through different stages of this dreaded challenge, may God have mercy on us!
