Mom's back in the hospital

Got a call last night from my brother down south, and he asked if I could come down and help my mom for a few days because she couldn't go to a nursing home for a few days until she was well enough to take care of herself, but she was going home and needed help with things that she wouldn't want he some helping her with.
So, this morning I put my other pair of pants into the washer, and took a load to the dump, and when I got back my brother had called again. I put the clothes into the dryer and called him back. My mother was on the floor, half naked, and he couldn't get her up.
I told him to get her a sheet or something, so she'd feel less uncomfortable, and that I'd be on the way as soon as the clothes were packed. Just as the dryer was finishing, though, he called back to say that she was on her way back to the hospital, because he had had to call the EMTs to come help her.
So, I'm on standby waiting to hear whether or not I have to head south to help her out or not. I think that it was pretty irresponsible of Medicare and her other insurance to allow her to go home when she was too weak to stand up long enough to put on her own underwear!
Geez! I blame the republicans for crap like this. Yes, virginia, we the government is responsible to pay for shit like this! These are people that worked and contributed all their lives - and it is not their fault that the medical industry has raised their prices to the point that they are bankrupting the entire nation in order to "take care" of us. 
Surely there is a way that health care can be provided to people without ruining their lives...
