Mole removal

A few days ago I had a mole removed from my back.  It had been bothering me that it may be cancerous and since I couldn't see it good enough to watch for any changes and it itched off and on , I decided to have it looked at.  Doctor agreed that it should be removed and checked the rest of me and found only one more questionable mole but I said I can see that one and it has never changed other than about six hairs like to grow out of it! LOL! It's a birthmark and I just don't feel since it's always looked that way that there was no reason to have a hole in my leg. Only minor discomfort when they put a couple of numbing shots before the removal.  Husband was with me and I told him not to watch but he said that he needs to toughen up anyway.  I could hear his legs shaking behind me! LOL! But once the shots were over he was fine and actually found it to be interesting. LOL!  Now three times a day he has to remove old bandage and clean area with diluted peroxide then dry ,put neosporin on it and re-bandage. I can't reach it at all so I had to suck it up and have him do something for me. : /  We found I'm sensitive to regular band-aids for that length of time and use the cloth ones.  Hopefully when I go back the lab results will be good and that will be that! I don't go to doctors at all other than seeing the dentist since hurricane Kratrina ran off all my doctors and so far the ones I saw after that don't care or have no time to care because they are over burdened. I do almost all I can to keep myself healthy so I can keep avoiding a bad experience to a new doctor. The one I saw for the mole was recomended to me by my daughter and is a dermatologist.  So I still would need a gp or pc doctor. If I have my way and can avoid them for most of the rest of my life till someone has to pronounce my death! I know , I know, but I can dream can't I? LOL! Will let you know when I know and get a chance to write to you of my lab results.
May all my friends have a happy, safe and pain-free day!

Orchid..you crack me up :)

One never hears about the aftermath after a big storm like the one you experienced..like that fact that there can still be a shortage o doctors..even now when some time has passed. I think that must be very difficult..very very difficult. I am thinking you of you..and hoping all will be well.
