Mo\' pills, Mo\' pills
I really wish all pills were chewable and tasted exactly like those chewable Vitamin C tablets. I love the orange flavoured ones but they didn't have them at the pharmacy, so I got citrus (instead of grape or tropical). Vitamin C is optional really but for the other supplements I take, I'm always reluctant to take them. Vitamin D, for example, tastes like chalk and dissolves the second it touches any moisture, which means it likes to paste itself to your gag reflex on occasion. What if it was chewable and tasted like fruit punch? I'd be a lot moe eager to take it! Ugh, pills. Take one tablet twice daily. Take 2 tablets once daily. Take 1-2 tablets daily. Take 1-2 tablets 2-3 times daily. Take on full stomach. Take on empty stomach. Do not exceed 6 in a 24 hour period. Do not take with calcium. My real reason for going to the pharmacy was to get something better than ibuprofen for the pain. I came out with Tylenol Arthritis. I've heard great things about Motrin but again, that's ibuprofen. I actually nearly went next door to the liquor store to get a botte of vodka, knowing that a drink in the evening helps me with the pain I've accumulated all day. What sold me on the Tylenol was that it has two layers; one for fast pain relief and one that relieves pain up to 8 hours later. Oh, and it was on sale. With my shoulder grinding against my ribs like it has been so much recently, I thought an arthritis pain reliever might be the best decision. Also, ever since I moved out West, I've been having problems with my knees again, so hopefully this will help. I'm back to feeling really... Off again today. I'm very lightheaded and faint. My back? Ow. Lots of pain at the bottom of my spine, some around mid-back and then a very painful and loud right shoulder. It grinds every time I move, whether I'm just adjusting the way I'm sitting or swinging my arm to walk. I got into the National Youth Orchestra of Canada again. I did it two years ago, and we needed to have a physical done. I have to decide by Wednesday if I'm going to go. There's no way my current doctor would sign a physical form to say I'm fine, because he knows more than my last family doctor that I'm not. If I don't pass the physical, then I don't get my $260 deposit back that I pay tomorrow for NYOC. Speaking of orchestra, I have to go to a long rehearsal. I really hope this tylenol works miracles! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok just got back from orchestra. I felt high as a kite in the head but in lots of pain playing my instrument. By mid-rehearsal, I thought I was going to drop my instrument. Something tells me I don't react well to Tylenol. I haven't had tylenol since I had T2s when I was a teenager, which got me really high and I would drop stuff (ie: knitting needles) and not even realize it. I have no appetite today. I tried to eat a little something just now to take a pill with and I'm not taking it well. Here we go, I see all the symptoms from last fall coming round again. I do have an appointment with my doctor on Thursday. I'll definitely bring up that this gets triggered usually during a change in weather, mostly from dry to rainy. The rainiest Manitoba ever was while I was there was the Fall of 2006, which, before this past year, was the most painful few months for me. Not sure how much of this entry made sense but I guess I'll spell check it on a better day.
