Mixed Up Stuff
Well had my two appointments this wk, both of which had been making me anxious at times. Wed had my vascular testing-all looks well. The tech reported that there appears to be no signs of circular and/or blood clot problems. Thurs saw the eye surgeon. This appt really felt like I was walking into some unknown scary road. He agreed with the basics that my eye dr had reported but he said that his examination has shown that the outside covering of my eye is not too flat at this time & he didn't feel that a laser treatment is warranted. I do have a redness & dryness problem so he gave me two at home steps to do hopefully once a day & to make sure use my eye drops several times a day. After these two appointments I really had to take time in my heart to thank the Lord for his guidance & blessings on this.
Mon afternoon is the BIG oh no appointment. Hubby has his regular check at the cancer clinic. Does anyone find it's so so hard sometimes to not let that monkey on your back take control of your emotions & thoughts. Boy oh boy.
My sister who is 2 yrs younger then me & her husband are both waiting on med test results this wk. For him, it appears there might be something on his thyroid or to do with hhis thyroid & my sister had an echo cardiogram done. I'm so angry with myself for allowing my soul to keep going to thyroid cancer & enlarged heart for her. She's had a major weight problem for decades now & they almost seem to live their life in the clouds sometimes. Hard to explain. They live in todays very physical world. Their house, their yard are like it always walks off the pages of a magazine. He needs to drive the shiniest upper end truck. They have their life all organized like a perfect novel. I guess it's hard for me to understand where they're coming fr because I live my life on a different plateau then they do. OK-am I weird maybe. A close confidant at church says he has the same problems sometimes & he feels it's because we're spiritually grounded & have taken the Lord into our hearts & souls.
My youngest sister moved this weekend into a newer place & she didn't seem to want help fr any of her siblings somehow. I guess on some level it hurts but I did offer a couple wks back & she was happy when the offer first came to being but when I spoke to confirm it she himmed and awed & backed away. I'm reminding myself that so be it, I offered, & this is obviously the way she wants it.
Family sometimes-geez whiz!
I've only got 3 squirrels so far compared to the 8 we had last yr. Hubby thinks it's good cause he said they're eating us out of house & home but hey when they stand on the picnic table at the door of the sunroom & they do their little up & begging thing I mean seriously how can one resist. They can make such sad eyes at you too.
Anywho I guess thats abt it for now. My ongoing love & appreciation for the thoughts & comments fr my friends.

Says it all \'family - geez whiz\', yup, I get that. Glad your appointments went better than you expected (I think) and good luck with DH\'s.... We\'ve slowly stopped connected with those people who show off, no time or energy for that b-shit anymore (pardon my french), need to meet new people who are good for the soul, fun to be around. Hi Kitty, lots of hugs for all your appointment, and that was good the dr gave you something for your eyes. All the best with your husbands appts as well. Sorry to hear about you youngest sister, kitty you did your best and went out of your way to help her, because you care and love her. Wow only 3 squirrels, and 8 last year. I miss our squirrels from the old house, they would even come inside. They are really so cute and we used to give them peanuts. We don\'t have much trees like our old house so we don\'t see the squirrels here. Lots of love and hugs xx
