Mixed Emotions

I have found lately that I feel more emotional in the evening hours. During the day I can be fine but as soon as I start to relax for the evening, all these bad emotions flood me and I start thinking the worst. I know it's because I'm not busy with work and such, but still I hate these feelings.
Last night I just got these overwhelming thoughts that I'm not gonna make it, and start crying. I know myself enough that to make myself feel better I just let myself cry, and in the morning I feel better. That's good that I feel better in the morning but I would like to feel better in the evening too.
I know, I want my cake and to eat it too. Hopefully soon I can feel better for most of the day without crashing down into the dark pit of despair. It just takes time....♥

It\'s tough...especially if you live alone. It\'s like the day\'s sunshine and distractions are gone and all that\'s left are the worries you\'ve put off and the regrets of -whatever-. (Even the t.v. shows take a darker, more adult turn.) Please know you\'re not the only one even if it feels like it. I remind myself constantly and sometimes it still doesn\'t register but if you can make it through the night there will be another day, right? (And if there\'s not, well, then I\'d guess it wouldn\'t matter as some sort of apocalypse occurred. Shoot...my lame attempt at light-heartedness.)

How about a silly joke? A young lady called up her b/f distraught as she couldn\'t assemble a jigsaw puzzle. The b/f asked \"What\'s it a picture of?\" \"According to the box, a tiger.\" \"Ok. I\'ll be over shortly.\"

Time passes and she gets progressively agitated. When he finally arrives and looks at what\'s happening, he says \"Ok. 1st let\'s sit down and calm down. I\'ll make us each a cup of cocoa. And then,\" he sighs \"we can try to get these frosted flakes back in the box.\"

:-) ? (((hugz))) regardless!
