MIXED EMOTIONS

This Saturday we will have a memorial for my nephew, Ethan.   His body still hasn't been recovered and that is so very sad.  It is so hard for us to get closure when we don't even know where his body is.  Ethan was a remarkable young man and we find out more and more how he touched so many lives and how he was respected not only by his friends and family, but by many middle age people who came into contact with him.  That is comforting.  It brings me back to all the people's lives that Clinton touched that we didn't even know the depth of.   Yesterday I closed on my new home.  It is an older home, but just right for me and my animals.  I will be able to get in there and start making it my very own next Thursday and I'm excited about that.  It was a gift from God the way I found out about it and the fact that it was in my price range and still a good, solid house.  Even though my happiness is dampened by the loss of my son and my nephew, I do still realize that there are blessings and happiness for me if I just choose to receive it. Sweet Clinton, I know you are so happy that I am finally in a neighborhood that you would approve of and that I'm in a sound structured house instead of a mobile home.  I know you and Ethan are happy for me and wanting me to enjoy my blessings.  I love you and miss you both soooo much...
