MIXED EMOTIONS

This Saturday we will have a memorial for my nephew, Ethan.   His body still hasn't been recovered and that is so very sad.  It is so hard for us to get closure when we don't even know where his body is.  Ethan was a remarkable young man and we find out more and more how he touched so many lives and how he was respected not only by his friends and family, but by many middle age people who came into contact with him.  That is comforting.  It brings me back to all the people's lives that Clinton touched that we didn't even know the depth of.   Yesterday I closed on my new home.  It is an older home, but just right for me and my animals.  I will be able to get in there and start making it my very own next Thursday and I'm excited about that.  It was a gift from God the way I found out about it and the fact that it was in my price range and still a good, solid house.  Even though my happiness is dampened by the loss of my son and my nephew, I do still realize that there are blessings and happiness for me if I just choose to receive it. Sweet Clinton, I know you are so happy that I am finally in a neighborhood that you would approve of and that I'm in a sound structured house instead of a mobile home.  I know you and Ethan are happy for me and wanting me to enjoy my blessings.  I love you and miss you both soooo much...

Wish I had words to comfort you at this time. I can only say I understand. I also lost a newphew (brother\'s son) when he was 25 years old. He had an accident lifting weights. I\'m here if you want to vent. Keeping you in my thoughts.
Good Luck on your new home. Love, Lucille

You are so right, there are blessings a midst or pain. We have to look for them harder on some days. I\'m so sorry about your nephew. I\'m sure you can be of great support for your family. Best of luck in your new place. Love Robin

Isn\'t it amazing all the wonderful things we learn about our children and loved ones after their bodies die? I thought I knew my Kala, and I did, but I learned of hundreds of people whose lives were touched by her that I never even knew. I\'ll be thinking of you and sending love as you and your family honor your nephew. Enjoy your new home and may you always feel the love of Clinton. Take care, Teri.

Since I have been in California, I wondered several times if his body was found and that your family would be able to have this part over with. I am so sorry.
The house sounds perfect.
Take care of you...
