Mission complete...praying for my BFP!

Last Wednesday was my egg retrieval.  It wasn't the most comfortable experience of my life, but I survived.  I was under IV sedation, so although I remember "feeling" pain, I don't really remember the pain.  Let's just say I was pretty high.  I had to ask my husband if I walked from the procedure room back to the recovery area.  (Apparently they pushed me on a bed.)  By Friday, I was back to normal.
Yesterday was my embryo transfer.  Piece of cake!  We finally arrived in the pouring rain.  (And a flash flood.  We actually had to drive to another entrance.  There were SUVs stalled in the high water.  My Honda Civic is quite the trooper.)  After checking in and being taken to the surgery center, I spoke to the doctor.  He suggested transferring 3 embryos.  (Insert mini-heart attack.)  One was "perfect", but the other two didn't look as good.  The actual procedure went very quickly.  The embryologist nurse talked my husband and me through each step.  I was relaxed and comfortable the entire time.  (They gave us a picture of our implanted embryos.  My husband was so adorable looking at the pictures.  He said he was going to take them to work today, but I told him that would be weird.)
Now I wait.  I am taking it easy today, but I don't think I can take it much longer.  I might go to school a few times to occupy my mind.  I am extremely emotional.  (Maybe it's the progesterone.  I HATE PROGESTERONE!  I can handle the shot, but my butt is so sore.)  My BETA is next Wednesday.  Hurry up next Wednesday!

Glad to hear that all went well. Advice that I was given regarding the shots is to ice the spot first, also helping was laying on my stomach with a pillow under my hips. I found the ice to help the most and after a while DH got pretty good giving the shots. I hope that your 2ww flies by and you receive a positive
Beta. Sending you sticky baby dust!

Feel free to message me if you start going crazy during the 2ww. I still have to wait until the end of July for my IVF--it seems so far off!
