Missing my daughter

So it's almost been two months since I gave birth to my daughter. It feels like it's been a long time but it really hasn't been long. I have a hard time talking to people about it because usually when I talk, I'm very rational. It's only usually in my alone moments that I get sad and cry for her. My daughter was beautiful and only a week old when she passed. She was 41 weeks when born. Perfect, except for fetal distress she experienced while I was giving birth to her that resulted in an emergency C-section. I don't know why she had to go through this. I almost don't know how to talk to people about this or hear yet another person tell me that they are "sorry for my loss," or "things will get better."

I'm not a depressive kind of person. I'm very pro-active and positive for the most part. I'm not laying around on the couch every day eating cheetos and crying nonstop. I can smile at people. I can laugh. I donate my milk to a milk bank. I clean. I cook. I talk about my feelings. I read. I write. I take part in support groups. But sometimes, like today, I just feel extreme sadness for my baby girl whom I'll never get to hold in my lifetime. All I want is her. I feel as though I'll always want her, even if I have another child down the road. There is no getting over the loss of my baby. They say in support groups that it's best to transform the hurt into a project, such as creating something. That's the plan. It's all in the works. I don't know if people have gone through things like this. I guess what I need is to know why it's happened because we still don't know.

I keep running the events in my head. Should I have been induced? Was the hospital negligent? Did this happen because my husband and I aren't right for each other? God only knows.
