Missing baby boy so much
Having such a hard time dealing with his death. All I do is cry whenever I go out on my front porch. Every morning I wake up thinking it was all a bad dream but then I remember he really is gone. I tried so hard to make him better. I gave him vitamins and tried adding other things to his food. I went and bought all different kinds of wet food, trying so hard to get him to eat.
I just want this deep pain to go away. He might have just been a feral cat to others but my boys and I loved him and enjoyed having him around. He knew that we were not going to hurt him. He would even come up to the food bowl before I got my hand away. He would hide in our bush by the porch and I knew he was there and I would say his name and ask him if he was going to eat today. Sure enough he jumped out of the bush and on to the porch to let me know he was hungry. I miss seeing his head stcking out the shelter door as he listened to me talk to him. He was such a good listener.

The pain will lessen in time. In the meantime, grieve however you need, do positive things, remember your boy and make the best of today. Sometimes that will be hard to do but baby steps count, too. Give yourself something you enjoy to look forward to the next day (a walk, reading, learn something you\'ve always wanted, games, etc.) .
