Missed my pills this morning
I forgot to take my pills this morning, so I'm trying to make note of it. I don't know why I forgot to take them... this is the first time in months I haven't taken my pills. I took my night dose (by the time I found out it was about 9pm, and I take my night pills at 9:30 so it was too late to make up) last night and tonight, but hopefully the missed dose won't effect me much. I just wanted to make a note of it here in case I do get wonky in the next couple of days so I know what caused it.
Today has been a pretty good day. I got to the gym and did laundry, so it had to have been a good day for me to do laundry. I hate doing it, but it wasn't too bad today. I just did a bit, but it was the important stuff (undies, towels, pants, etc) and worked out pretty well at the gym. I was walking home and I could feel it, but I don't feel it anymore. Maybe I will be sore tomorrow, I don't know. I haven't been getting sore from my workouts. I feel it's because I'm not pushing myself hard enough, but I don't want to push myself too hard and hurt myself. I just do what I should be doing, what I can do in my range. Maybe I could add another round of reps in, but when I left the gym I was feeling it. I have to walk home from the gym about a quarter of a mile, so I can't work my legs too hard or else I can't walk home.
I weigh myself tomorrow. I wonder how that will go. I've been eating low on calories, but it might be too low. I've noticed when I eat a bit more and drink more water, I tend to lose while when I don't eat as much and don't drink as much water I gain or stay the same. I could tell because when I weighed in on Wednesdays I would be lower (when I eat and drink my water during the week) and on weekends I forget my water for some reason and I weigh more on the official weigh in on Sunday. I figure twice a week isn't too bad for checking in. I don't want to do it every day because I don't want my mood to revolve around the scale again, but I want to do it often enough that I can see if I'm making progress and what helps and what doesn't. I think my twice a week thing is good.
Food today was good- I had oatmeal for breakfast, macos for lunch along with a protein shake (after my workout) a yogurt for a snack and regular dinner. I was in my range of everything today, except for my sodium. I just started watching my salt intake, and today it was high. I think it was the canned corn and the mashed potatoes I had, both of which are high in salt. I do eat a lot of processed foods, so I'm going to have to be careful with my salt, especially now since I'm tracking it. I was over 3,000mg today when they recommend you get less than 2,300mg. So I was way over. I will see how tomorrow goes, and maybe cut out the canned veggies or go easy on them. I'm just glad I didn't eat ramen today, or the number would be out of the ballpark. I need to watch it... I didn't think I ate so much sodium, but I guess we learn something when we start tracking what we eat.
Stress was good today, didn't feel stressed but I'm going to do some breathing exercises before I go to bed just in case. Sleep was pretty good, I got about 11 hours last night plus an hour and a half nap. I felt good after the nap and didn't want to sleep any more until now... I'm a bit tired now but not too much. I may have to take something for sleep tonight (I stopped taking the NyQuil last night) since I'm not tired and it's almost 10pm. I won't take anything until about midnight, though, and make sure I need to take it. I don't like taking sleeping pills because I know how addictive they are, but at the same time I can't risk going hypomanic by not sleeping. Not that on a day where I slept for 12.5 hours I can talk about not getting enough sleep, but I have different goals for sleep than most people. Oh well, what can you do?
