Miss you so much
This Christmas has so much pain and feeling the loss of Karina.
I bought a locket that has this inscription
Our heart still ache in and sadness
and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know.
That about says it except sometimes the tears aren't
so secret. Everyone here knows how it feels.

Yes, we do know.

Our hearts are broken, we miss our dear children more than it is possible to express...this path is paved with tears.
Somehow we learn to manage within this new reality.
Your locket sounds beautiful, Karina is always close to you.
Hugs, Rebecca
It\'s a beautiful memorial, your locket, one that is literally close to your heart. We all share the same sorrow - that isn\'t even a strong enough word: sorrow. There isn\'t a word for what we all feel. Much love to you and precious Karina.

Hoping you wear the locket close to your heart and feel Karina with you. I was given a locket and placed a lock of my son\'s baby hair in it. It is a treasure for me as I know yours is for you.
Gentle care my friend and so much understanding on this path that none of us ever imagined we would be walking.
Hugs, Joanie
That is a beautiful inscription.
Beside my bed, on the lampshade, I have hung almost all the necklaces Josh gave me. The first one was made in preschool and is a chain of paperclips with faux wood contact paper wrapped around each clip. The second is a big piece of amethyst slice on a chain that he bought me at a thrift store in early elementary school. The third is tiny yellow flowers in acrylic that he bought a few years ago.
A few weeks before Josh died, I ordered a necklace from a child selling them for his school. It arrived a few weeks after Josh died and could be monogrammed with a name. I chose MissUJosh and sent it in to the company. It came back beautifully. It comforts me to see them each day.
I hope yours gives you comfort too.
With love,
Leda
I do love that inscription....so very true....no one will ever know unless they have to feel this very pain....I pray you will have peace that passes all understanding.....time does not heal...it just takes the sharp pain down to a throbbing ache....love, dale...brandon\'s mom
